We have a variety of options for funding Health and Social Care NVQs/Diplomas/QCF Units and Apprenticeships. Please contact us to discuss the best option to suit you. The options depend upon availability and eligibility criteria:

Skills for Care Workforce Development Funds (Please see below for details of how to join our partnership for 2011/12 the NMDS-SC eligibility criteria) | QCF units. All funding is distributed on a first come first served basis. We are unable to fund CYP units via WDF funding; employers should consult the CWDC website (www.cwdcouncil.org.uk) or call 0113 386 2268.
WDF funding 2011-12 - Claiming H&SC NVQs (the deadline has been extended to March 16th 2012 and units assessed in 2010 are now acceptable)NVQs are once again fundable by WDF please use the WDF Learner Record form NVQ 2011-12 to claim NVQ units signed off the IV between 1st January 2011 and 16th March 2012 and by the assessor any time before 16th March 2012. We can pay £68 per unit.
Claiming QCF units (individual CPD units or for the new awards, certificates and diplomas)
The list of QCF units acceptable for workforce development funding has been extended. Funding is allocated per unit and is calculated on the credit size of the unit. In 2011-12 Skills for Care is funding at £10 per credit. After taking 15% towards administration costs N&SCS Ltd will distribute £8.50 per credit. So for example, you can claim a £25.50 funding contribution towards a 3 credit unit, a 46 credit L2 Diploma will be worth approximately £391 and a L3 Diploma approximately £493.

How to be eligible to claim How to Claim flowchart1. Join the Partnership All Care Providers in registered Norfolk are invited to become members of N&SCS Ltd's Workforce Development Funding partnership.
This year a new WDF Partnership Form is needed from every member of the partnership, for each NMDS-SC registered address. Skills for Care will not be transferring previous TSI partnership lists. Please take care to enter your current NMDS-SC registration number in the top right hand corner. Also new for 2011-12 is our Service Level Agreement. If you are part of a group we can accept one SLA from your Head Office
2. Fully complete your NMDS-SC online We can submit claims for funding only on behalf of members who comply with the NMDS-SC eligibility criteria by successfully completing or updating their NMDS-SC online at www.nmds-sc-online.org.uk since April 1st 2011. You can now run the new 'my Workforce Development nmds-sc requirements' report to confirm your eligibility for this funding. Once you have sucessfully updated you will be eligible to 30th March 2012.
